Selecting Captivating Art: Virginia Mahone's Advice on Purchasing Artworks
"When should one consider purchasing a piece of art?" one of the students inquired of Virginia Mahone, their instructor. Here is her advice to the class.
"Approach any gallery, exhibit, or presentation to relish the experience. Explore the essence of the event and what it has to offer. When you feel ready to depart, reflect on whether there is a piece that captivates you to the extent that you can vividly describe it. If not, graciously take your leave. However, if there is such a piece, endeavor to recall its intricate details. Then, return to compare your recollection with the actual artwork. The more precise your recollection, the more profoundly the piece has communicated with you."
